Disney notified us that Rafiki’s Planet Watch is closed. The message also says that Cast Members are working to get it up and running again. We were visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom today, July 12th, to say hello to all our animal friends when we saw a message pop up on the My Disney Experience app. But an entire section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is closed today. We’ve seen rides close for refurbishment. We’ve seen rides close due to technical issues and bad weather. Sometimes things happen in Disney World, and you don’t always get to do something you really wanted to do, like ride an attraction or meet a special character.
